There are several sites that offer the ability to download entire volumes, and their increase will be exponential in the near future. of these is Project Gutenberg. Book covers are simply the first page of the volume in question. Hence the need to want to give a "face" to our ebook, both for aesthetic purposes and for convenience, since it is much easier to quickly select starting our book by its cover. Following is the procedure to add book covers in your iTunes, procedure is very similar to that used to add album artwork to songs in iTunes

  1. Create or Google appropriate image, then resize image to 420 × 599 for the virtual shelves of the iBook.
  2. Open iTunes library and select "Books".
  3. Select the e-book without cover, right-click, and select "information".
  4. Select the tab "artwork".
  5. Drag the image that we chose as our cover of the e-book in the box and click ok.

If all goes the right way, your new personalized cover should already be in iTunes, and the subsequent synchronization even in your iPad.
