Good news for iPad jailbreakers, Winterboard is updated and now compatible with iPad. Winterboard allows you to customize Springboard of your iPad. With Winterboard you can change iPad icons, status bar graphics, iPhone dock graphics, install themes and custom battery graphics.
Note: Winterboard is a Cydia Application, means you need to jailbreak your iPad to get Cydia and then Winterboard on your iPad. To Jailbreak your iPad Follow our guide to Jailbreak iPad 3.2 with Spirit
Instructions o Install Winterboard :
- Launch Cydia, already installed on your Jailbroken iPad.
- Navigate to Search tab available at the bottom, then type and search for “winterboard”.
- Locate Winterboard and press it, hit the install button available at the top right side of the screen.
- On the next screen, hit Confirm button at the top right side to start Winterboard installation.
- Winterboard setup will be downloaded and then installed.
- On completion, Press The Big Reboot Device button at the bottom.
- After Reboot, You will find Winterboard icon on your iPhone Springboard. Press it to launch Winterboard.
When opened, you will find a list of customizations available in Winterboard. That’s it.
