by admin on August 1, 2011

Nicholas Allegra 19 years old, a student of Brown University and better known as Comex in iPhone jailbreak community. Till the date we only knew that Comex is a 19 year old wonder kid, but today Forbes magazine managed to took an interview (Full Interview Here) with the man who recently launched the first jailbreak solution for iPad 2. Comex lives in Chappaqua, New York and attends Brown University where he  will probably be recognized by many people as soon as next session in the fall.

Comex

Charlie Miller, a former network exploitation analyst for the National Security Agency who first hacked the iPhone in 2007 says

I didn’t think anyone would be able to do what he’s done for years, Now it’s been done by some kid we had never even heard of. He’s totally blown me away.

When Forbes asked about his passion for “breaking” iOS’s, COMEX said:

“It feels like editing year English paper,” says Simply Allegra, HE HIS voice croaking if I just woke up, though we’re speaking at 9:30 pm. “You just go through and look for errors. I do not know Why I seem To Be Effective at it so. “” I did not come out of the Same background as the rest of the security community, “he says. “So I seem to have Them to come out of nowhere.”

COMEX is a salvation for us in a time when GeoHot is hired by Facebook, i0n1c was tired of the status of “star” and the Dev Team is simply out of the scene. If we lose Comex then  jailbreaking is likely to become history’s because right now there are not very active young hackers involved in the phenomenon. Comex’s interview will be published this week in Forbes magazine.

Dino Dai Zovi, co-author of The Mac Hacker’s Handbook JailbreakMe Compares to That of Stuxnet’s sophistication, the worm thought to have Been the Israeli town designed by the U.S. government to Iran’s nuclear facilities Infect. He Compares Allegra’s skills to the state-sponsored Corporations and Governments Intruders That plague, what the industry calls Cybersecurity “advanced persistent threat,” hackers “He’s probably five years ahead of Them,” Dai Zovi says.

Update : Imran (Twitter Handle) sent us another capture of Comex.
