No More Untethered Jailbreak Until iOS 5

by admin on August 6, 2011

It seems that hackers have decided (rightly) to keep untethered exploits, until iOS 5 to appear in a couple of months. As you know we can and can jailbreak iOS 5 with Limera1n exploit, but it will be tethered, so you need a software exploit to do it untethered, and if launched now would be closed for iOS 5 Final release.

On the other hand the iPhone 5 and iOS 5 will need a bootrom level (hardware) exploit to make a jailbreak, because if you get userland jailbreak, that will be close quickly with an update as has happened with the iPhone 4 and jailbreakme.
